About Danielle
(she/her)
I am a clinical social worker & yoga therapist.

I work with individuals and couples, specializing in
Brainspotting and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy.

I approach psychotherapy and yoga therapy with a warm, reflective, and grounding presence. I seek to reduce suffering through the co-creation of nurturing environments that are conducive to healing, growth, and empowerment. I believe firmly in the worthiness of all to a sense of belonging, dignity, agency, and safety and have witnessed time and again how therapy can be a powerful tool in accessing these needs. I believe a more peaceful life is possible for each of us regardless of how ingrained and automatic our patterns might be and how stuck we might feel.

I specialize in working with complex/developmental trauma and relationship challenges. I also support folks navigating grief and loss as well as anxiety. I am a gender-affirming and polyamory-affirming therapist. I integrate parts work (from IFS and Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy) to deepen understanding of the complexity of one's inner world with compassion and curiosity.

My work as both a psychotherapist and yoga therapist is relational, trauma-responsive, and attachment-based. My approach is influenced by polyvagal theory, systems theory, attachment theory, parts-work, somatics, and psychodynamic perspectives.

I have a masters in clinical social work from the Smith College School for Social Work and am credentialed as a LCSW in the state of Maine and LICSW in the state of Vermont. Additionally, I have a degree in Dance and have over 700 hours of certified study in Yoga and am happy to incorporate movement/somatics into sessions as desired.

All services are offered on a sliding-scale at this time.

My commitment as a white practioner:

As a therapist, I am committed to providing access to care for marginalized groups and to expanding my capacity to provide welcoming and empowering spaces for those most harmed by white supremacist capitalist patriarchy. I am committed to creating therapeutic relationships that celebrate and embrace minds and hearts that operate, and bodies that look and move unlike mine.

I am committed to participating in and sharing the incredibly rich and complex healing system of Yoga with great humility and respect. I am committed to continually deepening my embodiment of the tradition's values and teachings with honor for its people and their wisdom.
